SIPs 301 Project Finds a Home

One of SIPschool's favorite summer employees and Miss Kit, circa 1996

When we can, SIPschool likes to donate the SIP structures that our classes create to local worthy causes.  The recent SIPs 301 Certified Installer class was building  a small 10 x 10 structure here at the SIPschool shop right about the time our office received a request for donations to Rainbow Montessori School’s Annual Auction.  We here at SIPschool have a soft spot for Rainbow and Miss Kit, and so we were happy to be able to oblige.

Al and Miss Kit

Al and Lloyd loaded the little house – which we described as the most energy-efficient playhouse or chicken coop on the block – and delivered it to Rainbow Montessori, along with the promise of delivery to the winning bidder.  We’re happy to report that the little house went for a very good price, and has found a new home as a duck coop here in Jefferson County.
